Dr. Prashasyamitra Shastri, a recipient of the National Pandit and Sahitya Akademi Awards, hails from Rae Bareli. He studied under the esteemed guidance of Guruvar Brahmdutt Jigyasu Ji at Virjanand Ashram, Kashi. Having joined the ashram at a young age, he frequently accompanied his Guru on various journeys, gaining invaluable experiences along the way.

For several years, Dr. Shastri has served as a trustee of the Ramlal Kapoor Trust, maintaining a warm and cordial relationship with the organization. He actively ensures the smooth functioning of the Trust by inspiring current members through recollections of ancestral traditions and the legacy of Guru Parampara.

Additionally, he is a member of the advisory board of the monthly magazine Vedvani, where his articles, poems, and verses are published periodically. Dr. Shastri remains steadfast in his dedication to the growth and development of the Trust.
