There are two types of students admitted to the Mahavidyalaya, day scholars who have their own arrangements for accommodation and those staying in Virajanand Ashram.

Students of 16 years of age and above are admitted.
03.
Students must have basic qualification of matriculation, or equivalent, and above.
04.
Girl students can be admitted but they are not allowed to stay in the Ashram.
05.
Fair knowledge of Hindi is must.
Virajanand Ashram
Ordinarily students can be accommodated in the Ashram whenever there are vacancies
- Facilities of electricity, water, residence etc. are free of cost o the students.
- Community programmes in the Ashram are performed by students according to needs.
- Simple food and clothing is a practice.
